    TEAM BNR

    We at Baja NITK Racing or otherwise known as BNR, are an aggregate with some of the best minds amongst the budding engineers at National Institute of Technology Karnataka who are united by a common fiery passion for working synchronously and making the best all-terrain vehicle to compete with the annual Baja SAE Championship. Team BAJA NITK Racing was formed in 2007 and has grown over the years, with the current team being 81 members strong.

    In the current season, our dedicated and meticulous efforts have led us to build a beast unlike any other - woven to perfection in performance and tuned for endurance; our four-wheel drive solution is a culmination of years of experience and diligence in terms of performance and manufacturing.

    BAJA SAE CHAMPIONSHIP

    Baja SAE challenges engineering students to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain.

    1. Secured 7th Overall in Virtual Baja'21.
    2. Secured 11th Overall in Virtual Baja'20.
    3. Secured 11th Overall in MBAJA'20 OVERALL STATIC .

    ATVC CHAMPIONSHIP

    ATVC, Aravalli Terrain Vehicle Championship, is a national level All-Terrain Vehicle designing and racing event.

    1. Secured 2nd Overall in ATVC VIRTUAL EVENT 2021.
    2. Secured 1st Position in Business Plan

    DESIGN & COST EVENTS

    Teams judged on the creation of design specifications and the ability to meet those specifications, computer aided drafting, analysis with their budget optimization.

    1. Secured 6th Position in MBAJA'22 DESIGN EVENT.
    2. Secured 4th Position in MBAJA'21 COST EVENT
    3. Secured 2nd Position in MBAJA'15 COST EVENT

    BUSINESS PLAN EVENTS

    The sales presentation tests the students ability to pitch their business plan and convince exexcutives to purchase the team's vehicle.

    1. Secured 11th Position in MBAJA'22 SALES EVENT.
